Overview
- Sony announced eight new cast members: David Morrissey (Jim McCartney), Leanne Best (Aunt Mimi), James Norton (Brian Epstein), Harry Lloyd (George Martin), Bobby Schofield (Neil Aspinall), Daniel Hoffman-Gill (Mal Evans), Arthur Darvill (Derek Taylor) and Adam Pally (Allen Klein).
- Lead roles remain set with Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
- Previously announced portrayals include Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono, Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd and Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey.
- The four films are now in production, each told from a different band member’s point of view under Mendes’ direction.
- Scripts are by Jez Butterworth, Peter Straughan and Jack Thorne, with Mendes producing alongside Pippa Harris, Julie Pastor and Alexandra Derbyshire, and further casting such as Cynthia Lennon and Ravi Shankar to be revealed in due course.
