- The Music Venue Trust said more than £100,000 from Fender’s tour was distributed through its Liveline Fund.
- Nineteen venues received emergency hardship support via the trust’s response team to avert closures and tackle licensing, financial or incident-related crises.
- Another 19 venues shared over £50,000 in improvement grants to upgrade equipment, facilities and infrastructure across England, Scotland and Wales.
- Recipients included London’s Paper Dress Vintage, Manchester’s The White Hotel, The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds and Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach, with venues reporting immediate benefits.
- MVT credited Fender as an early adopter of the grassroots levy co-created with Save Our Scene, and he said the approach is common sense that is making a real difference.
