He described Spears' conservatorship, which lasted from 2008 to 2021, as a shocking and disorienting experience, particularly given its restrictions on her basic rights.
Asghari, who met Spears on the set of her 2016 music video 'Slumber Party,' said he provided as much support as possible during her legal battle to end the arrangement.
The couple married in June 2022, months after the conservatorship ended, but separated in August 2023, finalizing their divorce in December 2024.
