- Organizers say the Podium34 drive is the largest philanthropic campaign to support an Olympic and Paralympic host, with more than $200 million committed toward a $300 million target.
- Nine founding “Captains” each pledged at least $20 million over nine years, including the Eccles, Huntsman, Miller, and Garff families, the Daniels Fund, and other Utah donors.
- Gifts will fund community and legacy programs tied to the Games such as education, youth sports, athlete mental health, arts and culture, and transportation, with major donors able to direct funds.
- Fraser Bullock said donor contributions are the organizing committee’s only current revenue source because solicitation of major sponsorships and IOC/broadcast funds must wait until after the 2028 Games.
