Salmonella Recall Expands to Include Rea Soppressata Salami Sweet in Quebec

Officials broadened the recall after 84 people fell ill from contaminated deli meats.

  • Quebec has been added to the provinces affected by the recall, joining Alberta, Ontario and Manitoba.
  • Of the 84 confirmed cases, nine people have been hospitalized with symptoms such as fever, vomiting, cramps and diarrhea.
