- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency recalled Rea brand Genoa Salami Sweet and Hot plus Bona brand Mild Genova Salami on June 10.
- Salmonella infections can cause fever, headache, vomiting and diarrhea and pose serious threats to children, pregnant people, the elderly and immunocompromised individuals.
- Consumers are advised to inspect salami packaging for product codes 5035226, 5049226, 5020228 and 5035228 and not consume any matching items.
