• The first motion poster, released July 4, shows Salman Khan bloodied and battle-hardened as he embodies Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu.
• Battle of Galwan portrays the June 2020 Galwan Valley clash, a high-altitude hand-to-hand fight fought without firearms.
• Khan completed intensive low-oxygen training and adopted a crew-cut, lean physique to accurately depict the posthumous Maha Vir Chakra recipient.
• Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Salman Khan Films, the screenplay is drawn from Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s India’s Most Fearless 3.
• A 25-day on-location schedule in Ladakh starts this month, to be followed by studio shoots in Mumbai.
