The Bishnoi gang's animosity toward Khan stems from the 1998 blackbuck hunting case, with the gang demanding either an apology or retribution.
Mumbai Police have linked the October 2024 murder of politician Baba Siddique, a close associate of Khan, to the Bishnoi gang, intensifying concerns for the actor's safety.
Additional measures include high-resolution CCTV cameras, razor wire fencing, and Y+ category police protection for Khan and his properties.
