Salesforce executive Denise Dresser has been appointed as the new CEO of Slack, succeeding Lidiane Jones who is leaving to become CEO of Bumble Inc.
Dresser, a 12-year Salesforce veteran, has held several executive positions and is currently the president of accelerated industries at Salesforce.
Lidiane Jones, who led Slack for less than a year, will start as CEO of Bumble Inc. on January 2, succeeding founding CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd.
Dresser becomes the third CEO of Slack in roughly one year, following the departures of founding CEO Stewart Butterfield and Lidiane Jones.
Salesforce, which acquired Slack in 2021, has seen a series of executive departures over the past year.
