Saks Global to Close Neiman Marcus’ Historic Dallas Flagship Store

Neiman Marcus’ iconic downtown Dallas flagship store, operational since 1914, will close on March 31 due to a terminated lease after years of landlord negotiations.
Saks Global, which acquired Neiman Marcus in December 2024, insists the closure is unrelated to the merger or business performance.
Employees affected by the closure will be offered transfers to other locations, including the NorthPark store, which is set to receive a $100 million renovation.
The closure is part of broader cost-cutting efforts by Saks Global, which aims to reduce $500 million in expenses and is reviewing its store portfolio for additional closures.
