Overview

  • The company introduced the ARG family on Aug. 25 featuring the 5.56×45 ARG 40 GP and ARG 40 DI plus the 7.62×51 ARG 50 GP designated marksman variant.
  • Buyers can choose a short-stroke gas piston system for harsh conditions or a direct-impingement option focused on lower weight and refined accuracy.
  • The platform offers fully ambidextrous controls, AR-15 component interoperability, and Picatinny/M-LOK interfaces to support mission-specific configurations.
  • SAKO says the rifles underwent rigorous environmental trials, including NATO D14 testing as well as arctic, mud, and sand evaluations.
