Saket Court Clerk Dies by Suicide, Note Blames Work Pressure as Staff Plan Lok Adalat Boycott

Police say an inquiry is underway after a note citing disability and heavy workload was recovered.

  • Harish Singh Mahar, 43, an ahlmad and 60% physically disabled, died after jumping from a building inside Delhi’s Saket court complex around 10 am.

  • The note said he acted of his own free will and held no individual responsible, according to police and court officials.
