Saints rookie QB Jake Haener suspended 6 games for violating NFL's PED policy

New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Jake Haener has been suspended for 6 games for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.
Haener claims he unknowingly ingested a banned substance and takes responsibility for the failed test.
Haener will be eligible to return to the Saints' roster on October 16 after missing the first 6 games.
The 24-year-old Haener was selected by the Saints in the 4th round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Fresno State.
Haener apologized for the distraction caused by the suspension.
