• New Orleans ended the preseason without naming a starter, with Kellen Moore saying the choice between Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough will be made next week.
• Rattler opened against Denver, going 5-of-8 for 43 yards and leading two field-goal drives before a fourth-and-1 sneak was stopped on downs.
