Turner tore his quadriceps on the third day of Saints training camp practice.
The injury will sideline Turner for the entire 2022 season.
Turner is a former Pro Bowl player who has also played for the Panthers, Chargers, Steelers, and Commanders.
Saints coach Dennis Allen has not provided details on Turner's injury.
