  • Sainsbury’s has released batch and serial numbers for five affected products: Newcastle Brown Ale bottles, Appletiser drinks, Nutribullet Go blenders, Tower air fryers and Bosch Styline toasters.
  • Specific Newcastle Brown Ale batches are being withdrawn over potential glass fragments and two Appletiser lots were flagged for elevated chlorate levels.
  • Defective electrical items—including rechargeable Nutribullet Go blenders, Tower air fryers produced January 2022–April 2023 and Bosch Styline toasters made October 2021–April 2023—have been recalled for overheating and fire hazards.
  • Consumers may return unopened beverages and all recalled appliances to any UK Sainsbury’s store for a full refund or free replacement.
  • Suppliers have apologised for the limited-batch defects and said they will reinforce quality control checks under UK product safety regulations.
