- All patisserie, hot food and pizza counters plus 61 in-store cafés have been closed across UK stores as of early Summer 2025.
- Around 3,000 staff roles were made redundant following the cafés closure in the first half of the year.
- From Autumn, the retailer will introduce On the Go flexiserve hubs offering heated meals to shoppers in place of traditional counters.
