Overview
- Saif Ali Khan created a verified Instagram account and drew attention on Monday, October 12, 2026 when his first public post began circulating online.
- His debut post is a carousel of photos from the Pataudi Library captioned, "Pataudi Library.. Judging books by their cover..," showing him reading and highlighting his interest in books.
- The profile uses the name Saif Ali Khan Pataudi, follows only Kareena Kapoor Khan so far, and carried a blue verification tick when it was reported.
- The move matches Saif’s past statements that he kept a private or secret Instagram and avoided a public profile because he valued privacy and did not want promotional obligations.
- Fans and commentators responded with welcoming and humorous remarks, and commentators note the account could remain a curated, personal archive or become a more active promotional tool tied to his film projects.
