Overview
- Los dos hidalgos de Verona opened the festival at the Roman theatre in a co-production by the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico, Cheek by Jowl and LaZona directed by Declan Donellan with text adaptation by Nick Ormerod.
- Eighteen productions spanning theatre, dance, music and circus will run through August 23 across venues in Sagunto.
- Teatro Accesible services—including adapted surtitles, audio description, individual magnetic loops and amplified sound with headphones—are available at every performance.
- Turismointerior Vol#9 Sagunt, a new mediation project led by David Montero, engages Ciutat Vella residents in sharing local stories through guided walks and participatory elements.
- The festival is organized by the Institut Valencià de Cultura with municipal and provincial support, and its launch was attended by Minister Diana Morant, Mayor Dario Moreno and Culture Secretary Pilar Tébar.
