SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered Launches with Enhanced Features and New Content

Square Enix surprises fans with the immediate release of the cult-classic RPG remaster, now available on modern platforms with updated visuals, gameplay, and expanded story elements.

SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered was announced and released during the March 27, 2025 Nintendo Direct showcase, priced at $29.99.
The remaster is available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, PC via Steam, and mobile devices, making it accessible to a global audience.
Enhancements include high-definition watercolor visuals, a revamped user interface, and new gameplay features like Parameter Inheritance, New Game+, and postgame challenges.
Previously Japan-exclusive content, such as the 'Dig! Dig! Digger' minigame, is now playable for the first time in the West.
