Overview

  • The strike was suspended at 12 p.m. Pacific Time on June 11, concluding nearly a year of work stoppage over AI protections and performer rights.
  • The tentative contract establishes enforceable AI guardrails designed to protect voice and motion-capture artists from unauthorized use of their performances.
  • SAG-AFTRA’s National Board is scheduled to meet on June 12 to vote on the agreement before it is sent to members for ratification ballots.
  • Union members have been instructed to return immediately to productions covered by the Interim Interactive Media Agreement, including promotional and publicity activities.
  • Signatory companies to the deal include Activision Productions, Disney Character Voices, Electronic Arts Productions, Epic Games and WB Games, among others.
