- The Wirtschaftsministerium in Magdeburg announced that students aged 15 and above in vocational preparatory year, one-year vocational schools without a professional qualification and vocational high schools are now eligible for the internship grant.

- For 2025, the state has allocated €450,000 to the scheme, splitting €200,000 towards crafts and €250,000 for agricultural and forestry internships.
