A lottery player from southern Sachsen-Anhalt has won €23.3 million, the largest Lotto 6aus49 jackpot in the state's history.
The winning ticket, submitted anonymously, was purchased for €18.10 and included six correct numbers plus the Superzahl.
This was the only ticket nationwide to match all numbers and the Superzahl in the recent drawing, according to Lotto-Toto GmbH Sachsen-Anhalt.
The odds of winning this jackpot were approximately 1 in 140 million, highlighting the rarity of the achievement.
The prize can now be claimed at any of the 630 Lotto outlets in Sachsen-Anhalt or the Lotto headquarters in Magdeburg.
