Sachsen-Anhalt Authorities Review Gun Licenses of AfD Members

Authorities in Sachsen-Anhalt are reviewing gun licenses of 109 AfD members following their classification as right-wing extremists by the Verfassungsschutz.
Currently, 72 AfD members are undergoing license revocation proceedings, with an additional 35 cases under evaluation.
The Landesverwaltungsamt confirmed that two members have voluntarily surrendered their firearms and permits.
Local weapons authorities, including those in Magdeburg, Halle, and Dessau-Roßlau, are tasked with assessing the reliability of these license holders.
The AfD has contested their classification in court, with a ruling still pending.
