S Jaishankar to Discuss Trade and Global Issues During UK and Ireland Visit

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar begins a six-day visit to the UK and Ireland on March 4 to strengthen bilateral ties.
In London, he will meet British Foreign Secretary David Lammy to discuss trade, defense, and global issues, including the Ukraine conflict.
The visit follows a public clash between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, with Trump pausing US military aid to Ukraine.
India has maintained a neutral stance on the Ukraine war, abstaining from recent UN resolutions and advocating for dialogue and diplomacy.
Jaishankar will also visit Ireland, meeting Foreign Minister Simon Harris and the Indian community to bolster India-Ireland relations.
