Overview

  • Ryanair bans infants up to seven days old from its flights; easyJet and TUI set a 14-day minimum for newborn travel.
  • All babies under six months must sit on an adult’s lap secured with an approved lap-strap, and children up to two years must also lap-sit unless a separate seat is purchased.
  • Parents may check essential baby equipment—such as pushchairs, car seats or travel cots—free of charge, with Ryanair permitting two items per child.
  • Under UK security regulations, baby food, milk and sterilised water in containers up to two litres are exempt from the 100 ml liquid limit.
  • Each TUI, easyJet and Ryanair aircraft is equipped with onboard baby-changing facilities to support family travel.
