Overview
- RWE chartered two 87.5-metre CSOVs—Grampian Eagle and Grampian Kestrel—for at least 12 years at Triton Knoll and 10 years at German North Sea projects
- Both vessels delivered in 2025 feature motion-compensated gangways, boat landing systems, accommodations for 120 personnel and are alternative-fuel ready
- Charter contracts kick off in winter 2025 in Germany and summer 2026 in the UK, each with options to extend by up to three years
- Windward Offshore will supply Windward Athens and Windward Paris as interim support vessels until the North Star CSOVs enter service by the end of 2026
- Reservation agreements with Vard lock in two newbuild SOVs for 2028 and 2029 delivery, and the four-vessel pact is expected to secure up to 200 jobs including 100 new roles
