Ruturaj Gaikwad to Captain India A in Australia Tour

Ruturaj Gaikwad has been appointed as the captain of the India A team for the upcoming tour of Australia.
The squad will play two first-class matches against Australia A in Mackay and Melbourne, starting October 31.
Ishan Kishan returns to the national fold after being dropped from BCCI contracts earlier this year due to absence from domestic cricket.
Abhimanyu Easwaran, in strong form with recent centuries, will serve as vice-captain for the tour.
The tour includes a three-day intra-squad game against the senior Indian team in Perth as part of preparations for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
