Rutgers Extends Football Coach Greg Schiano's Contract Through 2030

Rutgers University has extended the contract of football coach Greg Schiano through the 2030 season.
Under the new contract, Schiano will receive a $2.25 million increase in base salary, bringing his annual compensation to $6.25 million starting in 2024.
Schiano has led the Scarlet Knights to a bowl game eight times during his tenure, including this year's Pinstripe Bowl against the Miami Hurricanes.
Since his return to Rutgers in 2020, the team has compiled an 18-28 record.
Thirteen of Schiano's players earned All-Big Ten honors this year, the second-highest total in program history.
