Rusty Golden, Son of Oak Ridge Boys' William Lee Golden, Dies at 65

The musician and songwriter passed away at his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee, leaving a legacy in both country and gospel music.

Rusty Golden began his music career at age 13, playing drums for The Rambos.
He later toured with Larry Gatlin and recorded with Marty Stuart and the Oak Ridge Boys.
Golden co-founded The Boys Band and The Goldens, achieving notable success in the 1980s.
He returned to gospel music, earning multiple No. 1 Southern Gospel songs and awards.
Rusty was still touring and writing new songs with his family band before his death.
