Overview

  • Russia launched over 315 drones, including 250 Iranian-made Shaheds, and seven missiles at Ukraine overnight, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 284 incoming threats.
  • Strikes hit seven districts in Kyiv and multiple sites in Odesa, damaging residential buildings as well as an emergency medical ward and a maternity hospital.
  • Authorities confirmed three civilian deaths—two in Odesa and one in Kyiv’s Obolon district—and at least 13 injuries across both cities.
  • The Russian defense ministry asserted it struck aviation, missile, armored vehicle and shipbuilding facilities and that all intended targets were hit.
  • Peace talks have yielded only prisoner exchanges, leading Zelenskyy to urge Western allies to take decisive measures to compel Russia into a ceasefire.
