Overview
- New-vehicle sales totaled 1.197 million in January–October 2025, down 22% year on year, with October at 183,400 units, up 34% from September but 8% below October 2024.
- Domestic models reached 100,700 sales in October, up 9% year on year, while imports fell 22.8% to 82,700, lifting the domestic share to 55% for the 10-month period.
- By segment over the 10 months: passenger cars fell 20% to 1.055 million, LCVs dropped 23% to 86,700, trucks plunged 56% to 46,400, and buses declined 42% to 9,600.
- Lada sales fell about 25% year to date to nearly 271,000, with October deliveries down 25.8% to roughly 33,200–33,300, cutting the brand’s share from about 26% to around 20%.
- New EV sales reached 10,400 in the 10-month span, down 38% year on year, while the average used-car price eased 3.7% since January to 790,000 rubles.
