Russia’s 2025 New‑Vehicle Sales Fall 22% as Domestic Share Reaches 55%

  • By segment for the ten months, passenger cars fell 20% to 1.055 million, LCVs declined 23% to 86,700, trucks plunged 56% to 46,400, and buses dropped 42% to 9,600.
  • New EV sales totaled 10,400 for January–October, down 38% year on year, while Avito reported the average used‑car price at 790,000 rubles, 3.7% lower than at the start of 2025.
