A Russian attack drone struck a public bus in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson, killing one man and injuring six others, including five women.
The regional military administrator, Roman Mrochko, confirmed the incident and identified one of the deceased as a municipal official.
In a separate incident, three police officers were seriously injured in Kharkiv after being targeted by a Russian Molnija-1 drone, which is made primarily of plywood.
Ukrainian officials continue to report escalating drone attacks on civilian and security targets as the conflict intensifies.
The Molnija-1 drone, used in both attacks, highlights Russia’s adaptation of low-tech materials for combat purposes.
