Russian Court Denies Kara-Murza's Appeal to Investigate Poisonings

The dissident, serving a 25-year sentence, claims to have been targeted twice by FSB agents.

The court ruled that the Investigative Committee is not required to probe the alleged poisoning attempts.
Kara-Murza has survived two suspected poisonings, in 2015 and 2017, which left him with a nerve disorder.
The same FSB unit allegedly involved in poisoning Alexei Navalny is believed to have targeted Kara-Murza.
Kara-Murza's lawyer plans to continue appealing the decision, calling the ruling unjust and illegal.
