Russia to Recalculate December Pensions for Those Gaining Eligibility in November

The Pension Fund will update payments automatically from official reports.

Overview

  • December recalculation covers people who in November turned 80, were assigned first‑group disability, ended employment, gained dependents, or had district coefficients change.
  • For November 80th birthdays, the fixed insurance‑pension payment doubles from 8,907.70 to 17,815.40 rubles, with a care supplement of 1,314 rubles for insurance pensions or 1,377 for state pensions.
  • First‑group disability triggers the same doubling plus monthly compensation once data enter the system, and no repeat doubling applies to those already paid at the higher rate.
  • Those who left work in November will receive the full amount from December with past indexations restored, with automatic processing from employer reports and retroactive top‑ups if data arrive late.
  • Northern district coefficients lift payouts further, and separate from these adjustments insurance pensions are set to rise 7.6% from January 1, 2026, raising the average to about 27,100 rubles and covering roughly 38 million people.
