Overview

  • Roman Babushkin confirmed that the remaining two S-400 regiments will be delivered by 2026 in line with the 2018 $5.43 billion contract.
  • India’s ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ system intercepted over 300 Pakistani drones and missiles during May’s Operation Sindoor, officials reported.
  • The first three regiments arrived between December 2021 and October 2023 and are deployed along India’s borders with Pakistan and China.
  • Deliveries were delayed from the original 2023 schedule due to supply chain disruptions from Russia’s war in Ukraine, but Moscow has reaffirmed its commitment.
