Rosaviatsiya says the curbs are temporary, driven by flight safety.

Overview

  • Gelendzhik was also placed under restrictions, with a published NOTAM allowing regular flights from 8:30 to 20:00.
  • Separate notices added Samara and Ulyanovsk to the list, as well as Penza and Saratov, while Volgograd came under limits late on November 27.
  • Earlier on November 27, temporary restrictions were introduced at the airports of Grozny and Vladikavkaz.
  • Sochi’s November 27 closure was lifted the same day, with Rosaviatsiya reporting 10 flights diverted to alternate airfields during the disruption.
