Russia Steps Up Pokrovsk Assault as Ukraine Reports 300 Troops Inside City, Pullbacks in Zaporizhzhia

Kyiv hits Russian fuel hubs and says parts of the southern front have worsened as daily clashes surge to some of the war’s highest levels.

  • Ukraine’s General Staff logged 206 combat clashes on Nov. 11, including 72 assaults in the Pokrovsk sector, and said forces are holding lines and striking Russian rear areas.
  • Ukraine’s 7th Rapid Response Corps reported that more than 300 Russian soldiers infiltrated Pokrovsk under heavy fog, with ongoing urban clearing and at least 162 attackers killed since the start of November.
  • Ukrainian Southern Defence Forces confirmed withdrawals from positions near Novouspenivske, Nove, Okhotnyche, Uspenivka and Novomykolaivka in Zaporizhzhia to preserve personnel as fighting intensified around Huliaipole.
  • Kyiv said it struck the Saratov oil refinery in Russia and fuel tanks at the Feodosia terminal in occupied Crimea, and later claimed a hit on the Orsk refinery in Orenburg, with fires reported and damage still being assessed.
  • Ukraine and Russia issued conflicting accounts around nearby Myrnohrad, Ukraine denied claims of encirclement, and regional officials reported new civilian casualties, including seven wounded in Kherson.
