The Labor Ministry describes the holiday distribution as orderly.

Overview

  • An official production calendar and government decree confirm public holidays from December 31, 2025 through January 11, 2026.

  • Employees on a five‑day workweek will have 247 working days in 2026.
  • There will be 118 days off in total, including public holidays and days shortened by one hour.
  • Labor Minister Anton Kotyakov told RIA Novosti the allocation of holidays and nonworking days will work smoothly.
