Russia Says It Struck Ukrainian Transport and Energy Sites, Claims Heavy Losses Across Sectors

  • Russia’s Defense Ministry said operational-tactical aviation, rockets, artillery and strike drones hit transport and fuel-energy infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces, along with depots and temporary deployment points in 138 areas.
  • In the Donetsk sector, the ministry reported that Southern grouping units destroyed three UAV control points and a temporary deployment site near Ivanopolie, eliminated a Ukrainian Kozak armored vehicle and two UAV control nodes in Konstantinovka, and took out a crossing plus a communications antenna on the Seversk axis.
  • The Center grouping was said to have inflicted up to 550 Ukrainian casualties and destroyed equipment near Belitskoye, Artemovka, Vasilevka, Novopavlovka, Toretsk and Krasnoarmeisk.
  • The Vostok grouping reportedly advanced into Ukrainian defenses and claimed up to 330 Ukrainian personnel killed or wounded, along with a tank, armored vehicles, vehicles, an artillery piece and an electronic warfare station in parts of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
  • The ministry said the West grouping caused more than 230 Ukrainian casualties and destroyed armored vehicles, an AN/TPQ-50 radar, multiple EW stations and ammunition depots, while the North grouping reported up to 195 casualties and the Dnepr grouping up to 50.
