- Russian security sources said four Ukrainian counterattacks on the Sumy axis were pushed back to their starting positions.
- Two attacks were reported near Alekseevka, with one each near Stepovoye (Leninskoye) and Kondratovka.
- The sources said the assaults were repelled by what they called comprehensive fire strikes.
- Near Sinyelnykove in the Kharkiv direction, encircled elements of Ukraine’s 57th and 127th brigades were described as reduced to roughly two dozen personnel.
- The encircled group was initially assessed at up to a company, and RIA Novosti previously cited the near-total destruction of the 92nd Brigade’s ‘Shkval’ unit earlier in the week.
