Overview
- From 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Moscow time, the ministry said defenses shot down 43 fixed-wing UAVs over Rostov, Volgograd, Kursk, Crimea, Lipetsk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Kaluga, the Moscow Region, and the airspace above the Sea of Azov.
- The ministry’s breakdown cited 15 over Rostov, six each over Volgograd and Kursk, four over Crimea, four over Lipetsk, three over Belgorod, single drones over Vladimir, Kaluga, and the Moscow Region, plus two over the Sea of Azov.
- Earlier the same day, officials reported 111 drones downed between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., including 73 over the Bryansk Region with additional interceptions over Kaluga, Moscow, Tula, Oryol, and Smolensk.
- Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., the ministry said 83 more UAVs were destroyed, including 48 over Bryansk and 23 over the Moscow Region, with 18 described as heading toward Moscow.
