Overview
- Russia’s Defense Ministry reported shooting down 251 Ukrainian UAVs over multiple regions and adjacent seas overnight, including intercepts over Crimea, Belgorod, Voronezh, the Black Sea and one drone headed toward Moscow.
- Belgorod authorities said 197 drones targeted 14 municipalities in the past day with injuries and widespread damage reported, and about 40,000 residents temporarily lost power before a regionwide drone alert was lifted after more than 25 hours.
- Regional updates included eight drones downed over Tula and four over Ryazan, a short-notice UAV strike warning in Voronezh, and the cancellation of danger signals in Novorossiysk and Stavropol, while debris injuries were reported at the Tuapse refinery (two) and in Nizhny Novgorod (one).
- Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces captured the settlement of Kuzminovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and released combat footage, while units from the "Center" grouping reported strike-drone operations against Ukrainian positions.
- The ministry stated Ukrainian forces lost about 1,465 personnel in a day across sectors, figures not independently confirmed, as air-raid alerts sounded in Kyiv and other regions and explosions were reported in parts of Zaporizhzhia and in the city of Sumy.
