Overview
- The Defense Ministry said air-defense units intercepted and destroyed 98 Ukrainian UAVs between 11 p.m. on October 31 and 7 a.m. on November 1.
- Officials gave a regional tally including 45 over Belgorod, 12 over Samara, 11 over the Moscow region (six heading toward Moscow), 10 each over Voronezh and Rostov, four over Tula, two over Lipetsk and Ryazan, and one each over Kursk and Kaluga.
- In Tula, debris from a downed UAV was found near house 56 on Kutuzova Street, and traffic was restricted on the section between Williams Street and Gastello Street with detours in place.
- City authorities evacuated residents of about 50 private houses and opened a temporary accommodation point as preventive measures were carried out.
- Regional statements said there were no injuries or confirmed infrastructure damage, and several airports in Tambov, Kaluga, Penza, Samara and Saratov temporarily limited arrivals and departures during the incident period.
