Russia Reports Wave of Drone Shootdowns and Strikes on Ukrainian Control Nodes

Overview

• Russia’s defense ministry said air defenses downed 106 Ukrainian drones and a US‑made HIMARS rocket over the past 24 hours in the combat zone.
• Later the same day, nine more drones were reported shot down between 20:00 and 23:00 Moscow time over Crimea, Volgograd region and the Black Sea.
• Earlier that morning, two additional UAVs were downed over the Chechen Republic and Crimea, according to the ministry.
