Russia Reports Air Defenses Downed 1,138 Drones in Weekly Update

The Defense Ministry issued its latest tally through state media, pairing operational figures with revised cumulative totals.

  • The ministry reported downing 31 guided aviation bombs, 21 HIMARS rockets, and three long-range Neptune missiles during the same period.

  • The update also revised cumulative destruction totals since the start of the operation to 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 109,344 UAVs, 645 air-defense systems, 27,154 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1,642 MLRS vehicles, 32,613 artillery and mortars, and 51,993 specialized military vehicles.
  • The report continues the ministry’s practice of weekly air-defense tallies focused on drones and stand-off munitions as principal threats.
