Russia Reports Air Defenses Downed 1,138 Drones in Weekly Update

Overview

• Russia’s Defense Ministry said air-defense units intercepted 1,138 fixed-wing drones between January 10 and 16.
• The ministry reported downing 31 guided aviation bombs, 21 HIMARS rockets, and three long-range Neptune missiles during the same period.
• The figures were published January 16 by RIA Novosti with attribution to the ministry and are presented as official claims.
