- Kyiv officials say at least five people were killed and more than 30 injured after hours of night strikes that set fires and damaged apartment blocks, hospitals and transit across nine of the city’s ten districts.
- Air defenses reported downing 405 drones and 14 missiles during the attack, which President Volodymyr Zelensky said involved roughly 430 drones and 18–19 missiles, while damage was logged at 44 sites nationwide with most in the Kyiv region.

- On the front lines, the General Staff counted 176 clashes by midafternoon Friday, including 64 Russian assaults on the Pokrovsk axis, as Ukrainian commanders also cited earlier local gains around the Ocheretyne sector and heavy Russian losses in personnel and equipment.
