Terrain très accidenté, communication peu fiable, difficulté à piloter, lenteur… Les drones terrestres peinent à se développer sur le champ de bataille, contrairement aux drones aériens ou navals, qui évoluent dans des milieux ouverts.

Overview

  • Russia unleashed 479 explosive drones overnight, marking its largest assault and inflicting casualties and infrastructure damage in Kiev and Odessa.
  • Ukrainian air defenses intercepted or neutralized 460 of the drones and all but one of the 20 missiles launched during the attack.
  • NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte called for a five-fold increase in member states’ air defense capacity to counter similar Russian threats.
  • France’s defense minister announced talks for Renault to partner with a French SME on drone production in Ukraine, although Renault says no final decision has been reached.
  • President Zelensky urged the United States and European allies to take concrete measures to halt further Russian drone strikes.
