Overview

• On June 5, Russia unleashed an overnight barrage of more than 400 drones and missiles targeting Kyiv and major western Ukrainian cities.
• At least four civilians were killed and over 20 wounded in Kyiv as fires erupted in residential buildings and parts of the city faced power outages.
• Ukrainian air defenses shot down 30 of 36 Kh-101 cruise missiles and intercepted hundreds of drones, though some penetrated and struck civilian infrastructure.
